Personal Supports

This service is for clients aged 21 and older who live in their own home or family residence. It also applies to individuals aged 18 but under 21 who live in their own home. It combines services previously known as respite care, companionship, in-home support, and personal care assistance. This service provides assistance and training in daily living activities such as eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and meal preparation. If specified in the support plan, this service can include housekeeping tasks. It also encompasses non-medical care and socialization and can provide access to community activities with therapeutic benefits.

Respite Care

This service offers supportive care and supervision for individuals under 21 years old living in the family home when the primary caregiver is unavailable due to a brief planned or emergency absence or when the primary caregiver is temporarily unable to provide care.
